Yes, to both! Kids are welcome to run, walk, or ride in strollers as long as they are with a legal guardian. Leashed and well-behaved dogs are welcome unless the venue or route restricts them. Just bring water and waste bags for your pup!

Don’t worry! We’re all about inclusivity, and there’s no pressure to run at any specific pace. Someone from our leadership team or a member will always stay with the back of the pack to ensure you’re supported.

Yes! Post-run socializing is one of the best parts of Valley Runners. Stick around after the run to meet new friends, share stories, and relax. You can join us afterward even if you’re not running that day.

We run in most weather conditions, including rain and heat. However, we may cancel if it’s deemed unsafe (e.g., severe storms or extreme heat advisories). Any updates will be posted on our social media channels.
